How to shed the anxiety habit
Anxiety disorder is an umbrella term which encompasses a heterogeneous collection of disorders, with common characteriestics. The seminar will enable the participants to identify the nature, signs and sources of anxiety and the course leaders will teach and train the participants effective, evidence-based interventions and management strategies, based on cognitive-behavioural principles.
Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in USA, affecting 40 million adults (18% of U.S. population, NIMH). The total number of people with anxiety disorders in England was estimated to be 2.28 million in 2007 and this is projected to rise to 2.56 million by 2026.
